星舰StarShip原型SN15完整地完成了测试,包括一直没有成功的着陆动作。
下落过程中,两个Raptor发动机着陆点火(Landing Burn)成功,发动机矢量推力的角度动态调整,结合舰体的RCS(Reaction Control System,反应控制系统或反作用喷流控制系统)调整姿态,星舰SN15实现了平稳软着陆。
星舰着陆后,尾部有明火燃烧。随后传来消息说明火已被扑灭,没有发生如SN10一样的着陆后爆炸。
