A haircut by the street<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
I had a haircut on March 14th. 70 days later, I had my hair cut by the street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today I got a new exit pass issued by the official community committee, so I went out for a walk. I saw a hairdresser at work on the roadside at a crossing. The hairdresser was a lady, she was giving a man a haircut. Two blue plastic stools were there, but no one was sitting on them and waiting. Since Shanghai was forced into lockdown, my hair has continued growing. It was a good chance for me to have my hair cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had an easy talk with the lady hairdresser while my hair was being cut. She said her salon was nearby, but was forbidden to open in lockdown. It seemed these days more people were on the roads than before, so she decided to carry out her business on the roadsides. Anyhow, the roadside business was not bad. Sometimes the people waiting were above 10. Haircut was a rigid demand for people. Shanghai had been in lockdown for 2 months, nearly everyone had to stay home, most of them had no way to have their hair cut, so haircuts became an urgent need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The easy talk with her continued. We talked about the Covid-19 pandemic that made normal living messed up. The forced lockdown was an unexpected disaster for people. We talked a lot more, such as family, eldly caring and so on. The hairdresser was from Hubei province, she was a good talker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The haircut was done. No mirror, so I checked my haircut via my smartphone camera. Not bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The price for the haircut was \uffe520,\u00a0 a good price. My normal haircut frequency was one time every 15 days. I hadn\u2019t had haircuts for 70 days,\u00a0 that was a big money save😄<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before my hair was cut, the long hair covered on my head was like a watermelon peel or a helmet. The hair on both sides of my head always stabbed my ears, which was the protest from my hair. The long hair was cut, I felt so comfortable now. There was no electric hair dryer, pure natural breeze blew on my head.
