Shanghai lockdown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It was the first time I went outside community after Shanghai rushed into lockdown because of covid-19. I had to go to a hospital to get medicine for the elder, so I could get a pass license from official community committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Few vehicles on trunk roads. Green wire gauze and checkpoints were set up at nearly all crossing of branch roads to communities. I couldn’t pass crossings unless I showed the pass license to the inspectors at checkpoints and got confirmed. All roadside shops were closed. Warnings that residents shouldn’t go outside were yelled out of horns in patrol cars, and slogans the like were being hung at the roadside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many trucks fully loaded with goods were spotted parking by the roads, and were unloading by workers. Those trucks were all from other provinces for support to Shanghai. Many paper strip seals, already torn apart, were on the doors of trucks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I arrived at a hospital. A doctor welcomed me warmly. I told him the medicine name, he seriously said that the name I’ve told were was not the full name. I said you were professional and thank you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several volunteers were in the hospital to help get medicines for those in need. All medicines they’ve got could be loaded into a very very big bag. They were working hard to help others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a nice day, good weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
